Book Restocks, GatewayFATE, Schedule, and more!
Hello, hello, hello! We're back again so soon!
This will be a general update for the store and the tentative schedule going forward for the rest of the year, so let's get started!
The most important update here before all else: I, Owyn, would like to extend a huge apology to everyone the past few weeks for issues caused with pending/lost/incorrect orders. The store was hit with a series of unfortunate events that culminated into a little monster. In the end, I was unable to talk to people by way of email due to having our business email flagged as a scam account. I have corrected it with Google, and we have set up a secondary email as a back up in case this ever happens again (which I severely hope it does not). This new secondary email is orangekittyhouse@gmail.com and it has been working smoothly! Going forward, I ask that if you have not received any updates about your order within 2 weeks of placing it, please reach out to us with the new email and I will personally be there to help fix any issues! This new information has been updated across the store just to be on the safe side, but also please do feel free to reach out before the 2 week time frame if you feel the need to! Thank you so much again for everyone's patience and understanding; now, let's get moving forward!
First off: yes, you read that correctly. OUJ Restocks are back! Again, we are limiting the amount being sold online to prepare for GatewayFATE in mid October, but don't worry - we will be putting the rest of the stock back online after the convention if you weren't able to snag them online! And on the note of this restock, we must give a heads up on the prints: Just like all previous reprints of OUJ, the books come out slightly different each time due to changing print companies. This time, we went with the US-based company MCE Printing! The new books are a bit thinner and have a glossy cover this time, but still up to the same quality that the artist / writer Saba Sabaton demands! Going forward, we will do new prints of new volumes over seas, and all reprints will be done with MCE, while it is still available.
Other than OUJ restocks, we are also going to restock on a few other merch, such as the Adventurer's Capricious Carryall, Wondrous Tales Sticker book, and some other NEW items that we'll show off closer to GWF! There's another informative book I am currently working on seeing if it's possible to restock.... but we'll see about that. Fingers crossed! The same goes for our newer addition to the artist roster for our store, Deb, who will also be debuting some newer items!
Moving on to our next subject: GatewayFATE 2026 and scheduling for the rest of the year. Previously, we have spoken about allowing pre-orders for people attending GatewayFATE, however, we are stepping back from this idea this time. This will be our first con that we are traveling far to go do, and we do not wish to have to haul additional merchandise for the drive. Thank you for understanding! As with TEKKO, all left over merchandise will be put back up on the store within 1-2 weeks after the convention.
The store will be closing Monday, September 28th to give us ample time to sort, pack, and inventory our supplies! If you have any orders that are needed before this time, please take care of them now, otherwise, we will be back on November 1st ( unless otherwise stated ).
Just as a more personal footnote here, but Saba, who is well known for wanting to have more doujinshi being made within the US, has made a vlog talking about her experience at TEKKO selling doujinshi!
