So Long 2025~!

Well well well, here we are again, now near the end of 2025! Let's get this update on the road!

To start us off, thank you SO for your continued support for Our Unending Journey; we really appreciate all the love that's constantly given to the team! And speaking of OUJ, we have a few announcements pertaining to it!

COMING SOON..... 🎉 VOLUME 5!!!!!! 🎉

Here's the cover image for the new volume!!! That's just rolanberry jam at the bottom, don't worry about it. Everything is fine and dandy. 

We're expecting to have these new prints to us in early 2026, so we will make sure to update everyone when we have our paws on them!!! If you'd like to get updates on this, once again we would recommend to follow us on Bsky (or saba sabaton's account) OR, using the OUJ Discord server that now has a store updates tag! Please look forward to it 🙏

Continuing on with OUJ news, we finally have restock of Volume 3!!! While that is some pretty exciting news for us ( it's been years of working on getting this to be reprinted mostly due to the powers that be... ), there are some differences we would like to point out for those who collect the books:

First thing of note: the new prints are noticeably thinner than our previous runs. This is due to working with a new print company over our previous manufacturer .

This change is mainly due to the thickness of paper now used for the print. The quality of the printed lines are the same, but there are key differences with the page color and how... well, the only word we can use is "floppy" the book is now. Think of it more like the look and feel of an official manga release! Here's some more images to show the differences:

We were SUPER meticulous in getting a company that would keep the print quality we were used to, and not break the bank to manufacture, so we can stamp these new prints with a paw print of approval from the OUJ team! Funnily enough, Volume 5 will be printed by a NEW new print company that went through the same vetting and testing, so more on that process later! 

Last bit of OUJ news, we have new charms of the candy kind.... welcome our Gummy Adventurers! 

This is our first set of merch for the Light Party in their Heavensward outfits! This also made us wonder... should we do some fun things with their other looks, too? Much to think about... But I digress, these little guys are epoxy coated on both sides and transparent, so they have this really nice jelly/gummy sheen to them ( yes. yes I do want to eat them ). We have a very limited supply, so get them while they're hot!

Stepping away from OUJ news, the entire store has been revamped price wise, now with permanent price slashes ( lined up well again with Black Friday, how do we keep doing that?! ) to get some of our previous merch rolling out and more more room for books! 

HUGE thank you for those who came out to say hello to our first small-scale test run at tabling at a comic book show! We were hilariously out of place, but we had a ton of fun using it to test tabling again! We are definitely going to continue tabling at local cons until we're set up well enough to travel further out!

Last bit of news before we wrap up here, but the entire OUJ Gang will once again be at FFXIV FanFest for 2026! We will be handing out stickers and trading cards there like last time, so we are excited to see everyone in Anaheim! We're also working on a little collaborative project for FanFest, so we'll share more news once everything is ironed out.
